Years of experience as a designer in a porcelain manufacture and the continuing work with material, form, and color have shaped my artistic style.
It is particularly important to me to harmonize functionality, the aesthetics of the form emphasized through hand painting, and the beauty of porcelain as material. As a porcelain designer, I combine competencies of sculptors and painters as well as architects and technologists.
In my workshop, I produce small-scale series of everyday objects with hand painting. I work with Limoge porcelain and colored pigments for underglaze painting. My products are slipcasted and post-processed by hand.
